Mark: Why are there so many national flags along the streets?
Kelly: It’s going to be Double Ten Day very soon.
Mark: Oh, that’s right. It’s the birthday of the Republic of China.
Kelly: And we have to thank Dr. Sun Yat-Sen for founding our country.
Mark: Do you want to see the Double Ten fireworks display?
Kelly: Of course. The fireworks display is in Chiayi city this year. I’m sure it’s going to be very exciting.

馬克：為什麼沿街有這麼多國旗呀？
凱莉：雙十節很快就要到了。
馬克：啊，對喔！那是中華民國的生日。
凱莉：而且我們得感謝 國父孫中山先生創建了我們的國家。
馬克：妳想去看雙十煙火秀嗎？
凱莉：當然囉！今年的煙火是在嘉義市。我相信絕對會很精采。
